Delete Your Account

You can request the deletion of your DoOrDonate account and all associated personal data at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

• Your profile (name and email address) and your saved card reference
• All challenges you created or participated in
• Uploaded proof photos and screenshots
• Your challenge history and statistics
• All account credentials, authentication data and push notification tokens

What we must keep: if a miss was ever charged, the record of that payment — amount, date, charity and the terms of the challenge it belongs to — is kept for 10 years as required by German commercial and tax law (§ 257 HGB, § 147 AO), then deleted. These records contain no card details.

Running challenges: once we receive your request, your running challenges end and no new misses arise. Misses that were already confirmed remain payable, and you can still dispute them.

How to delete your account

Send an email to strehldevs@gmail.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request". Please include the email address associated with your account so we can identify it.

We will process your request within 30 days and send you a confirmation once the deletion is complete.
